Warhead: To be free or to die
16/04/12 || Curt
First of all, let me start by saying that normally I really like thrash: I mean I REALLY like thrash. Give me Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, Municipal Waste, whatever, I usually will like it. Yet, in this case no matter what I did I just could not get into “To Be Free or to Die”. The musicianship is good, the vocals fit the style of music, but I just could not get into it. Sometimes if I listen to an album a few times it sinks in and I have one of those “aha!” moments where it clicks in and everything gels. Sadly, in this case that simply did not happen and I’ve got to say I just was not interested. There’s nothing particularly wrong with this album, it just never gelled for me. I’m sure these guys will have a decent future ahead of them as they do seem to have the chops, but for now they are just OK.
5/10. Not particularly bad, but not good either.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
